What does holistic generosity look like?

The first Christians were radically generous because of their faithful boldness and assurance of Christ’s love. Their lovingly generous community demonstrated and proved that the gospel changes lives.

At Redeemer we want to model a community of Christians who live sacrificial lives of generosity in many ways. We invite you to a more generous life in its many forms: from inviting people into your home, forgiving those who hurt you, spending your time in ministry, lending your emotional support to those who need it, or letting people share in your privileges.

Of course, this also includes sacrificial giving — generosity of our finances. Paul was talking about money when he wrote, “Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously” (2 Corinthians 9:6).

The early Christians recognized the power of steady commitment. We ask that you prayerfully consider setting up an online recurring gift. That way, our staff would be able to better plan ministries and steward resources more consistently throughout the year.
