The year 2020 has been the most challenging and traumatic in the 30 years that Redeemer has been in New York City. The sense of loss, instability and ongoing uncertainty are disorienting for us as individuals, as a church community and as a city. In the midst of this instability and uncertainty we will be offering an eight-week course entitled “Rooted.”
The course is a reminder that in the midst of all of the change and uncertainty our church family remains committed to core theological values. The circumstances around us might change, and our ministry will continue to contextualize, but this class is an opportunity to engage, celebrate and reaffirm the core theological values that have guided Redeemer since its founding. Additionally this will be an opportunity to bring our church family together in a season that has isolated us from one another. The church is a scattered community in mission, but we also are a family that must gather together and remember the principles that unite and animate our shared mission.
Wednesdays, September 30 to November 18, 2020
Time: 8:30 to 9:45 p.m.
